Connect OpenClaw to Eventbrite
Let an OpenClaw agent create and publish events, manage ticket classes and pull attendee and sales reports from Eventbrite, with no credentials handed to the agent.
Eventbrite is the ticketing and event platform used for everything from community meetups and workshops to paid conferences. Running events on it means a lot of repetitive setup and reporting: cloning last month’s event and fixing the dates, creating early-bird and standard ticket tiers, issuing a discount code for a partner, and pulling attendee lists and sales numbers before every planning call.
With Claworc’s External Connections, an OpenClaw agent can work
inside your Eventbrite organization on your behalf. You sign in to Eventbrite once through
a popup, Composio holds the resulting OAuth token, and the agent gets an auto-generated
claworc-eventbrite skill that tells it which Eventbrite tools exist and how to call
them. The agent never sees a password, an OAuth token or a private API key.
Tools available to OpenClaw agents
Section titled “Tools available to OpenClaw agents”Composio’s Eventbrite toolkit exposes 95 actions across events, venues, ticket classes, discounts, orders, attendees and reports. These are the ones an OpenClaw agent reaches for most often:
- Create, copy and update events — set up a new event from scratch, duplicate a past one, or fix details on an existing one.
- Publish and unpublish — control when an event goes live.
- Manage ticket classes — add ticket tiers with their prices, quantities and sale windows, and change them later.
- Issue discount codes — promo codes for partners, speakers or early registrants.
- List attendees and orders — see who has registered and what has been ordered.
- Pull sales and attendee reports — the numbers you would otherwise export by hand.
- Find events across the organization — locate any event by date or status.
Every tool is called through a small broker running next to the agent, so the agent only needs to describe what it wants done in plain language and let the skill handle the rest.
Use cases
Section titled “Use cases”Clone and schedule the next meetup
Section titled “Clone and schedule the next meetup”“Copy the August meetup for October 15th, same venue, and keep it as a draft.” The agent finds the source event in your organization, copies it, adjusts the dates, and leaves publishing to you. When the description is ready, a second message publishes it.
Set up ticketing in one message
Section titled “Set up ticketing in one message”Ask the agent to “add 50 early-bird tickets at $40 through the end of the month, then 200 standard at $60, and a 100% code for speakers.” It creates the two ticket classes and the discount code, then reads the result back so you can check the numbers before anything goes on sale.
Pre-event numbers
Section titled “Pre-event numbers”The day before an event, have the agent pull the sales report and the attendee list, and post a summary: tickets sold per tier, revenue, registrations in the last 24 hours, and how that compares with the same point before the previous event. The planning call starts with facts instead of screenshots.
Get started
Section titled “Get started”Connecting Eventbrite takes three steps: an admin adds a Composio API key to Claworc’s
settings, you open the instance’s Settings tab, click + Add connection, pick
Eventbrite and sign in. The claworc-eventbrite skill appears in the instance a moment
later. The full walkthrough, including the exact Composio permissions the key needs, is
in the External Connections documentation.
