Connect OpenClaw to DocuSign
Let an OpenClaw agent send agreements from templates, track envelope status and manage signers in DocuSign, with no credentials handed to the agent.
DocuSign is the eSignature platform that sales, legal, HR and finance teams use to get agreements signed: NDAs, order forms, offer letters, vendor contracts and renewals. The signing part is quick. The work around it is not: preparing the same template with a new counterparty’s details, checking who has signed and who is stalling, pulling the tab values out of a completed agreement, and sending a batch of near-identical documents to a list of people.
With Claworc’s External Connections, an OpenClaw agent can work
inside your DocuSign account on your behalf. You sign in to DocuSign once through a
popup, Composio holds the resulting OAuth token, and the agent gets an auto-generated
claworc-docusign skill that tells it which DocuSign tools exist and how to call them.
The agent never sees a password, an OAuth token or an integration key.
Tools available to OpenClaw agents
Section titled “Tools available to OpenClaw agents”Composio’s DocuSign toolkit is one of the largest in the catalog, with 335 actions covering envelopes, templates, recipients, documents, users, signing groups and account settings. In practice an OpenClaw agent leans on a handful of capabilities:
- Send from a template — start a new envelope from an existing template with the recipients and field values filled in, then send it so signers receive it.
- Track envelope status — read who has signed, who has not, and when.
- Extract form data — pull the values signers typed into form fields, ready for your CRM or spreadsheet.
- Attach documents — include supporting files alongside the agreement.
- Bulk send — send one template to a whole list of recipients at once.
- Generate signing links — create an embedded signing URL for your own workflow.
Every tool is called through a small broker running next to the agent, so the agent only needs to describe what it wants done in plain language and let the skill handle the rest.
Use cases

Section titled “Send an NDA from a chat message”“Send our mutual NDA to [email protected], company Acme Ltd, effective today.” The agent creates an envelope from the template with the counterparty details and sends it. You get back the envelope ID and a confirmation that Jane has been emailed, without opening DocuSign.
Chase stalled agreements
Section titled “Chase stalled agreements”Each morning, have the agent check the status of every envelope sent in the last two weeks, list which are completed, which are waiting on a specific signer, and how long each has been waiting. Anything past your threshold shows up at the top of the summary with the name of the person holding it up.
Pull signed data into your systems
Section titled “Pull signed data into your systems”When an order form completes, ask the agent to read the form values and hand them to your CRM or a spreadsheet. Contract value, term length and billing contact land where you need them, without retyping from a PDF.

settings, you open the instance’s Settings tab, click + Add connection, pick
