Connect OpenClaw to Canva
Let an OpenClaw agent find, create, resize, autofill and export designs in your Canva account, with no credentials handed to the agent.
Canva is the browser-based design tool that marketing, sales and operations teams use to produce social posts, one-pagers, slide decks and ad creatives without waiting on a designer. The volume adds up quickly: resizing the same graphic for four platforms, exporting a deck to PDF for a client, filling a brand template with this week’s numbers, and finding the design someone made last quarter.
With Claworc’s External Connections, an OpenClaw agent can work
inside your Canva account on your behalf. You sign in to Canva once through a popup,
Composio holds the resulting OAuth token, and the agent gets an auto-generated
claworc-canva skill that tells it which Canva tools exist and how to call them. The
agent never sees a password, an OAuth token or an API key.
Tools available to OpenClaw agents
Section titled “Tools available to OpenClaw agents”Composio’s Canva toolkit exposes 46 actions across designs, folders, assets, brand templates and export jobs. In practice an OpenClaw agent leans on a handful of capabilities:
- Find designs — locate existing designs by title or recency instead of scrolling the Canva home screen.
- Create a design — start a fresh design of a given type, ready for editing.
- Resize a design — produce a copy at a new size, such as a square post turned into a story, and wait for the job to finish.
- Export designs — export a design to a supported format and get back a download link.
- Autofill brand templates — fill a template’s data fields with new text and images to generate a finished design.
- Upload assets from a URL — pull an image into your asset library so it can be placed in designs.
- Organize folders — create folders and move designs into them by campaign or client.
Every tool is called through a small broker running next to the agent, so the agent only needs to describe what it wants done in plain language and let the skill handle the rest.
Use cases

Section titled “Resize a design for every channel”“Take the launch graphic and make versions for LinkedIn, X and Instagram Stories.” The agent locates the design, starts a resize job for each size, polls until each one finishes, and returns links to the three new designs.
Weekly report from a brand template
Section titled “Weekly report from a brand template”Point the agent at a brand template with fields for a headline, a metric and a chart image. Each Monday it autofills the template with fresh numbers, exports the result, and posts the download link in your team channel. The template stays under your control; the agent only fills it in.
File and export client deliverables
Section titled “File and export client deliverables”At the end of a project, ask the agent to export every design in the client’s folder and
move them into a Delivered folder. It lists the folder’s contents, exports each design,
and moves them into the new folder, so the handoff happens in one request rather than one
design at a time.
Get started
Section titled “Get started”Connecting Canva takes three steps: an admin adds a Composio API key to Claworc’s
settings, you open the instance’s Settings tab, click + Add connection, pick Canva
